My recent trip to New York in pictures

Last week was my third trip to New York. This time I spent it with my best friend Tara. We had an absolutely fantastic time. From eating cupcakes on 5th Avenue to drinking beer in Soho. We literally shopped til we dropped. We walked from Timesquare to Soho then the following day we walked from Timesquare to World Trade Centre. Walking is the ideal way to take in the whole city. We found the most amazing stores full of all kinds of everything. From vintage to modern. I personally prefer shopping in Soho because it has more quaint shops and it is not as commercialized as Midtown. Bryant Park and Washington Park are peaceful gems right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of New York. We stayed in the Night hotel just a few metres around the corner from Timesquare. It was the most perfect hotel. Perfect location, perfect rooms, perfect staff. I absolutely love New York. I love everything about it. Until we meet again New York. Sweetdreams xxx

NEW YORK Can not wait to head back to the place i love so much...

In 3 weeks time I will be back in the city that pulls at my heart strings. To me New York is the most amazing place on the earth. I have been twice before with my husband but this time i will be there with my best friend Tara. We will spend hours and hours in search of vintage goodies for our ladies boutique in Ireland , Mon Amie. (monamiekillarney/facebook) We are on the look out for the most fabulous vintage stock so if anyone knows of anywhere we can search we would appreciate it in letting us know. I just cant wait to do all the New York things I love to do from wandering aimlessly along the streets in search of gorgeous unique clothing, eating hot dogs on street corners, taking our ease roaming around Soho and Greenwich Village to searching Mood fabrics high up low down for the most amazing materials and accessories for my D.I.Y projects. I just can't wait to spend the week in the embrace of New York City.
